Sketching in France III (and a bit of Chicago)

Here are a few more sketches from my trip.  This is the last of 'em and then it's back to Vancouver stuff.

This is of a waterfall in Nice.  Really cool.  We had to walk up a lot of stairs to get there, but the mist from the water was a nice way to cool off.  There are big bits of stone coming out from the main face, so the water follows all different paths into the pool.

This was the view from our hotel.  Nice is a great place.  The beach was just down to the right

Some people at the airport.

This statue was in the Nice airport.  I sometimes find it hard to draw beautiful things.  Like by  focusing on making something extra nice, it makes it worse.  Or maybe I was just tired.

Back in Chicago for a couple days before heading back to Vancouver.  This is this neat structure and gardens called the Baha'i temple.

A little farther down the road is this harbour that looks out over Lake Michigan.
Thanks for having a look!
